The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is offering an opportunity for local school districts to learn best practices from one another around the development and implementation of Common Exams. Central Office personnel working on Educator Effectiveness (human resources, testing and curriculum and instruction directors and/or appointees) are invited to join Tammy Howard, Director of Accountability Services, along with testing directors from three local districts who administered the exams for first semester, for a Sharing Best Practices around Common Exams webinar. Dr. Howard and her colleagues will share best practices and lessons learned from the field among those who have administered the first round. Below are dates, times and local district presenters, along with registration information: Thursday, Feb. 28, 3:30 to 5 pm -- Dana Wrights, Director of Accountability Services, Winston-Salem/Forsyth Schools
