You are invited: Leading with the iPad
iPads
have become a favorite with students, teachers and some administrators.
We are seeing more and more of them being integrated into the daily lessons for
students, and they are transforming the way that students learn.
The
iPad can also transform the way that administrators lead. This session,
entitled “Leading With the iPad” will offer basic tips on how
school administrators can move beyond using it for email and show how they can
use many of the unique iPad’s features and apps to maximize their productivity.
Session topics include:
- Using iPad apps and features for
classroom observations and documentation of critical events
- Using free Apps to manage workflow and
increase productivity
- Time saving communication tips
- Text entry tips: Keyboard typing
shortcuts
- How to use the iPad as an extension of
your office
- Using cloud-based file syncing programs
and services
- Managing iPad general controls,
navigation and other time saving techniques
- Exploring and downloading apps that
every administrator should have
- Evaluating and downloading the best
apps for productivity, communication and educational use
This is a hands-on, interactive seminar. All participants
will need to have iPad and will need an Apple ID since we will examine and
download fee apps from the Apple iTunes store during the session.
Participants
will receive a certificate acknowledging 6 hours of completed CEU credits.
