The Supreme Court: Past and Present Deadline: April 7, 2011

The Supreme Court: Past and Present Deadline: April 7, 2011
Come join the NC Civic Education Consortium and the UNC Program in the Humanities and Human Values for a once and lifetime training opportunity with two of North Carolina’s finest scholars – presidential historian William Leuchtenburg, and law professor, Gene Nichol.  In the morning, teachers are treated to a pedagogical training on fun, interactive, student centered Supreme Court curriculum.  In the afternoon, teachers will have the opportunity to see Dr. William Leuchtenburg and Professor Gene Nichol - two great and distinct minds - discuss controversies surrounding the high court from the past to the present.  This training is geared toward Civics, US History, and Law and Justice Teachers.  Visit the Consortium’s training page for more information and to apply for this training.
