Teacher’s Session: Standards Overview &
Evaluation Process
(In case an administrator missed our summer
session or wants more information, we are opening this teacher session to
administrators as well).
* Understanding the NC Teaching
Standards and Teacher Evaluation Process
Teachers have received various levels of training on the teaching standards and the evaluation process. This session is to fill in any gaps, clarify misunderstandings and allow teachers to completely understand what will be expected of them in their evaluation process. We will take the mystery out of the behaviors in the rubric by clearly identifying what it means to be developing, proficient, accomplished or distinguished. This session will be helpful for any teacher who still wants to understand how to change their teaching style to match the needs of students in the 21st Century.
